Celebration of William Bolcom and Jane Kenyon

Please click Songs of William Bolcom, to hear videos and view programs from the SongFest at Colburn "Celebration of William Bolcom and Jane Kenyon" concert, a collaboration of SongFest and The Hampsong Foundation. This special project, which is part of the website of the Hampsong Foundation, links to information about composer William Bolcom, poet Jane Kenyon, and information about the individual songs included in this concert. Most importantly, you can also listen to selected videos from this concert, including Gettysburg: July 1, 1863 a new song by Mr. Bolcom commissioned by SongFest and underwritten by The Sorel Organization.

SongFest is immensely grateful to Sorel for their ongoing generous support for these important song commissions. The 2012 Sorel Fellow soprano Rachel Schutz can also be heard performing Bolcom's cycle "Briefly It Enters" on the website.
